On 19th February, 2014, we had our first international pitch contest. This contest was held as a part of International Conference, Hack Osaka 2014 managed by Osaka City, aiming to make Osaka as a global innovative city.
10 startup groups were selected from many applicants from Japan and abroad, and they took 5 minutes pitch for each.
A remarkable translation service, Waygo won the Gold Prize and presented 500,000yen and return ticket to London by British Airways.
The second prize went to TransferGo, the British bank transfer service, and won 300,000yen, the third prize went to StudyPact. StudyPact and they received 100,000yen prize price.
We will have the second International Pitch Contest on 10th February 2015, and looking forward to meet energetic start-ups.
